Painting with Pigments

Explore the timeless technique of painting with pigments! This class will introduce the students to composition, drawing and colour through the genre of still-life. The students will learn how to make some of their own paints – tempera in this class – and will be inspired by the natural beauty of dry pigments that were used by artists since the cave paintings 40,000 years ago.
